Hari Integriti & Antirasuah (HIAR) NCIA 2022 – ‘Walk the Talk, Talk the Walk’
Last week, NCIA’s Chief Executive Encik Mohamad Haris Kader Sultan spoke on the topic of ‘Walk the Talk, Talk the Walk' at the official opening of the Hari Integriti & Hari Antirasuah (HIAR) NCIA 2022organised by the NCIA Governance team on 2 December 2022.
This inaugural event was hosted by the Integrity Department at NCIA HQ in Bukit Minyak, Penang to commemorate both the National Integrity Day as observed every 5th of November and the International Anti-Corruption Day on every 9th of December. The double celebration is celebrated to foster awareness among NCIA i-STARS of the inherent need to practice noble values & integrity while continuing to fight against corruption on an ongoing basis.
The event was also accompanied by a pre-recorded integrity message from the Chairman of the Audit Committee of NCIA, Yang Mulia Datuk Tengku Muhammad Taufik Tengku Kamadjaja Aziz, President & Group Chief Executive Officer of Petroliam Nasional Bhd (PETRONAS).
The programme aimed to provide an avenue for i-STARS to share and discuss with guest speaker YBhg. Datuk Dr. Anis Yusal Yusoff who gave a lecture beforehand entitled "Great to Greatest: Why you need to lead with Integrity". Datuk Dr Anis is also the former President & CEO of the Malaysian Institute of Integrity (IIM), Former Director General of the National Integrity and Good Governance Department (JITN), Former Deputy Director General of the National Centre for Governance, Integrity, and Anti-Corruption (GIACC) and now Principal Fellow at the Institute of Ethnic Studies (KITA), UKM.
